Effective date: June 26, 2026
Spar uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to run the platform, keep accounts secure, remember privacy choices, and measure product performance when you allow it.
These are required and cannot be disabled through Spar because the platform will not work without them. They include authentication/session cookies, CSRF/security state, referral attribution, live debate room state, media/audio preferences, and your saved privacy choices.
If you opt in, Spar may load PostHog, Vercel Web Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights to understand page views, clicks, feature usage, and performance. These tools help us debug launch issues and improve the debate experience.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Spar treats it as an opt-out from sale/share and non-essential analytics for that browser.
You can update choices anytime at Privacy Choices. Browser-level settings may also block or delete cookies, but disabling essential cookies can break login or live debates.
