Fair enough fair enough uh let's see here okay good you can hear me How are you going to tell little blind boy that he can't see again huh just he's got all he's got to do is tickle his brain a little bit with a wire and he can see again come on Look I don't feel good about getting control over your brain to a machine that's stupid
Nova asked: Beacon Judge: not scored - Transcript does not contain a topical debate argument.
I don't think humans should merge with machines I think humans need to remain humans because humans are humans and there's a way too much risk way over doing casual mode anyways there's too much risk in implementing things into our brains who knows if it can lose control if we could get hacked I just don't think it's worth the risk
Okay let's see if our this actually scores an argument here so I see what you're saying but at the same time I'm talking about for people if they have an Affliction that a machine can correct if they're blind or deaf or sick and the Machine is there to help them see again that should be their choice Um and beyond that I would be very careful plugging into machines so I do agree on that front
yeah I completely disagree first of all I think if you give somebody access to your fucking brain they cannot increase or create intrusive thoughts which I already struggle with or they could tell your dick to stop working now the other thing I worry about is can they read my mind right if I'm thinking about jacking 15 peptides into my ass today I don't want anybody else to know that that should be a secret
Okay good so I'm glad that personally you're not going to do it that that however is not an argument for whether or not you should or should not do it Uh that being said I do agree that look it's a slippery slope once you open the door just like having a camera on your phone They're going to abuse it that's what they do these companies are going to abuse it so
yeah you know what I think I can agree with you and find some common ground on the fact that people who are blind can't use their legs if neuralink or something else like that can help them you know see again or walk again that's fantastic or play Warcraft that's wonderful but I think you know it's just not a good idea anybody can do it it's up to your personal freedom go for it if you want to personally I'm not going to merge with machines
